The grassland nomadic culture of Kazakhstan merges with modern light luxury trends in Zhasyl Altyn Jewelry’s new showroom in Nur-Sultan (the capital city). The showroom features an open layout that mirrors the country’s expansive geographical characteristics. The brand’s core requirements included:
- Custom large circular island counters, long floor-standing cabinets, and built-in wall cabinets to fit the showroom’s spacious and transparent space;
- Climate-adaptive materials: moisture-resistant wood-textured cabinets (to address Kazakhstan’s arid continental climate) paired with anti-glare transparent glass (to mitigate the impact of strong local sunlight);
- Culture-resonant design: integrating Kazakh grassland nomadic decorative elements into cabinet textures and details (e.g., understated woven patterns on cabinet edges).
- Design Phase (September–October 2023): Invited local folk culture consultants to incorporate nomadic patterns, confirmed the plan via 3D modeling, and optimized cabinet dimensions to match the showroom’s ceiling height and open space.
- Production & Logistics (November 2023–January 2024): Adopted eco-friendly moisture-resistant materials and anti-glare glass; utilized railway-land intermodal transportation with real-time temperature and humidity monitoring, achieving damage-free delivery.
- On-Site Installation & After-Sales (January–February 2024): Conducted modular installation in low-temperature environments, completed lighting and moisture-proof debugging, and provided 24/7 remote support plus annual on-site maintenance.
Post-delivery:
- The large circular island counter became the centerpiece for the brand’s signature gemstone jewelry, while long floor-standing cabinets accommodated full-category displays — balancing the showroom’s openness with focused product presentation;
- The anti-glare glass and climate-adaptive materials performed exceptionally well: jewelry details remained clearly visible even in strong sunlight, and no cabinet deformation was reported after 3 months of use;
- Zhasyl Altyn Jewelry reported a 40% increase in foot traffic after the showroom opened. The culture-resonant design of the display cabinets helped the brand establish a unique "local luxury" image in Kazakhstan’s emerging high-end market.
This project has enabled us to accumulate experience in customizing display solutions for large, relatively niche markets. Currently, we have received inquiries from two other Kazakh jewelry brands and will continue to support luxury retailers in the region in creating space-adapted and culture-aligned display solutions.
