As a local emerging pearl jewelry brand, Lys Pearl aimed to open its first boutique in Aarhus’ low-profile harbour cultural district. The core needs for the full-store display cabinet system were:
- Align with Aarhus’ "ocean warm tone + hygge comfort" urban texture, while highlighting the brand’s gentle luxury positioning;
- Accurately showcase the luster of core exhibits (South Sea pearl jewelry, platinum delicate accessories) without glare;
- Adapt to the 90㎡ small boutique space, balancing exhibit display volume and customer trial experience (e.g., comfortable pearl necklace fitting).
Combined with the boutique’s curved harbour-view window and warm-toned interior, we designed a scenario-matched display cabinet system:
- Central Curved Island Display Cabinet (Core Area):
Adopted "warm gold metal frame + light brown leather base" to echo Danish hygge’s warm texture; built-in soft-focus diffused LED lights—adjusted to 3000K warm white to highlight the soft luster of pearls, while avoiding harsh light that damages pearl surfaces. - Linear Pedestal Display Cabinet (Corridor Area):
Double-sided open design maximized space utilization; ultra-transparent anti-reflective glass paired with light beige lining clearly presented platinum small accessories (cufflinks, brooches) without light reflection interference. - Wall-Embedded Vertical High Cabinet (Harbour Window Side):
Equipped with custom ocean texture panels (echoing Aarhus’ harbour style) for displaying pearl jewelry sets; reserved detachable fitting trays inside the cabinet to adapt to the small-space trial demand.
Since the grand opening in July 2024:
- The display cabinet system, with its "hygge warm luxury + harbour texture", became a featured check-in spot in Aarhus’ cultural district—32% of the opening month’s customers were local design lovers (exceeding the brand’s expectation by 15%);
- The soft-focus lighting increased the recognition of pearl luster details by 38%, and the trial-to-purchase conversion rate reached 42% (10% higher than the brand’s historical data);
- Lys Pearl’s founder commented: "The display cabinets perfectly capture Aarhus’ harbour warmth—they don’t overshadow our niche tone, but let each pearl jewelry become the 'warm focus' of the space."
