Project Overview
This project is a full-scope custom display cabinet turnkey solution for a high-end fragrance boutique in Chengdu. Located on the premium retail floor of Global Center in Tianfu New Area, Chengdu, the store focuses on the offline experience and retail of affordable luxury perfumes, niche fragrances, and premium skincare products. The entire space adopts a cream-white and champagne-gold light-luxury design language, featuring four major custom cabinet categories: a centrally positioned arc-shaped jade-spliced perfume island display, dual-sided open multi-tier cosmetic display cabinets along the walls, recessed arched illuminated display niches, and complementary cabinetry for the client lounge and consultation area. These are complemented by a wave-shaped metallic ceiling and a large crystal chandelier, together creating an immersive fragrance experience environment.
Our scope encompasses the full spectrum of integrated custom cabinet services—including design, manufacturing, on-site installation, and lighting commissioning—from end to end. The cabinetry utilizes eco-friendly multi-ply solid wood boards, engineered jade countertops, thickened champagne-gold metal profiles, and soft-glowing LED ambiance lighting, striking a balance between durability, display ambiance, and compliance with mall fire safety standards. Spatial Style Requirements:
The store is positioned as a high-end light-luxury perfume flagship, with an overall aesthetic that is soft and premium. The cabinetry is required to feature a cream-white body with a champagne-gold metal frame, finished with a uniformly warm and refined metallic luster. Jade-textured countertops are required to elevate the sense of luxury, aligning with the aesthetic expectations of Global Center's upscale clientele.
Display Functionality Requirements:
A circular island perfume cabinet is to be positioned as the centerpiece, dedicated to displaying tester samples and full-sized fragrances. Multi-tier wall-mounted display cabinets along both sides are required for the segmented presentation of home fragrances, body care products, and gift sets. Recessed arched light-box cabinets on the walls are designated for brand image displays and limited-edition fragrances, with ample tiered shelving and reserved slots for price tags and lighting fixtures.
Experience & Supporting Amenities Requirements:
A dedicated lounge and consultation area is to be incorporated, furnished with leather sofas and marble-metal coffee tables. The cabinetry and soft furnishings must maintain visual consistency, accommodating customer fragrance testing, rest breaks, and one-on-one consultations.
Material & Implementation Requirements:
All display cabinets must comply with the mall's environmental and fire safety inspection standards. Metal frames must resist oxidation and fading; cabinet panels must be odor-free; integrated anti-glare soft LED lighting must be installed; and mirrors and glass panels must be non-reflective to ensure unobstructed product visibility. The project timeline must align with the mall's renovation schedule, with production, on-site installation, and commissioning to be completed within 35 days.
Long-Term Operational Requirements:
The cabinetry is to feature a modular design, allowing for flexible height adjustments of shelves in the future to accommodate new product launches and gift set displays. Maintenance and cleaning should be straightforward and hassle-free.
Phase 1: Preliminary Site Survey & Design Planning
Our team conducted an on-site precision survey at the Global Center store in Tianfu New Area, Chengdu, measuring floor height, wall load-bearing capacity, electrical circuit points, and fire safety compliance requirements. Based on the client-provided store renderings, we developed three layout plan options accompanied by high-definition 3D renderings. Through multiple rounds of refinements addressing the curvature of the circular island, the dimensions of the arched light-box cabinets, and the finish of metal profiles, we finalized the comprehensive custom solution featuring champagne-gold metal and engineered jade countertops, and subsequently signed the custom fabrication contract.
Phase 2: Factory Standardized Production & Manufacturing
The factory commenced full-process custom production: panel sheet cutting and matte cream-white baking finish using eco-friendly water-based paint; bending, polishing, and color application for thickened champagne-gold metal frames to achieve a uniformly warm metallic luster; cutting and polishing of engineered jade countertops; pre-installation of built-in LED anti-glare light strips and power cabling. Simultaneously, the wall-mounted display cabinets, arched brand-image cabinets, and metal coffee tables for the lounge area were produced in parallel. Each batch of semi-finished components underwent quality inspection to eliminate color deviation, metallic discoloration, and panel burrs.
Phase 3: Logistics Delivery & On-Site Installation
The complete set of display cabinets was delivered to Chengdu Global Center via enclosed dedicated transport vehicles. Our professional installation team proceeded on-site, beginning with floor protection and electrical circuit connection, followed by sequential assembly of the circular island perfume cabinet, the dual-sided wall-mounted display cabinets, and the arched wall-mounted illuminated cabinets, with the lounge area coffee tables installed concurrently. Phase 4: Integrated Acceptance & Handover
A joint on-site acceptance inspection was conducted with the client and the mall property management. On-the-spot adjustments were made in response to the client's requests for shelf spacing fine-tuning and lighting brightness optimization. Fire safety and environmental compliance test reports were reviewed and verified. Operation and maintenance manuals covering cabinet care and electrical circuit maintenance were delivered, and the project was successfully completed and handed over on schedule.
