Project Overview
This project is a full-service custom display case project for a high-end local perfume boutique in Bangkok's Siam commercial district. The store features Thai-style natural essential oil perfumes, handmade aromatherapy products, body care items, and fragrance gift boxes, targeting both local young consumers and overseas tourists with an immersive, Instagram-worthy shopping experience. Our scope includes the integrated design, production, factory pre-assembly and full system testing, disassembly, packaging, and shipping of the store's circular central fragrance-testing island, recessed backlit wall display cabinets, brand image display cases, and matching lounge side cabinets. The entire display system blends Southeast Asian rattan-and-wood aesthetics with a modern creamy light-luxury style. The cabinets are constructed from eco-friendly solid wood substrates, featuring soft layered LED lighting strips and tempered ultra-clear display glass. Special anti-moisture and anti-corrosion treatments have been applied to withstand Bangkok's year-round high-temperature, high-humidity climate, while also meeting overseas shopping mall fire safety standards. This project serves as a benchmark cross-border beauty display case solution in the heart of Bangkok's Siam district, offering a reference model for perfume boutiques, aromatherapy spa outlets, and beauty concept stores.

Client Requirements
Style & Aesthetic Requirements: The store embraces a Thai-style natural light-luxury aesthetic tailored to Bangkok's young consumer base and tourist foot traffic. The cabinets feature a light natural wood vertical-grain structure complemented by a warm beige-pink spatial palette, integrated with rattan soft furnishings for visual consistency. The design minimizes heavy industrial elements to create a soft, photogenic display setting ideal for social media engagement.
Display & Functional Requirements: A circular open-center fragrance-testing island is positioned at the store's core, with perimeter display space for perfume samples and full-size fragrances, while the central cavity accommodates checkout and product wrapping areas. Recessed tiered wall display cabinets are arranged around the perimeter, zoned for essential oils, aromatherapy décor items, and gift sets. Shelf heights are adjustable for flexible product arrangements, and each tier is equipped with independent soft LED lighting to minimize glass reflections. A dedicated illuminated brand image display case is installed on the wall to showcase limited-edition fragrances and brand storytelling elements.
Climate Durability Requirements: Given Bangkok's persistent high temperature and high humidity, all cabinets must offer superior moisture-proof, mildew-proof, and corrosion-resistant performance. Metal hardware must be rust-resistant and non-oxidizing, and all board materials must be odor-free, ensuring long-term durability in Southeast Asia's tropical climate.
Experience & Support Requirements: Multiple lounge and consultation areas are planned, furnished with compact storage side cabinets that match the overall display style. These spaces accommodate extended fragrance testing, customer relaxation, and one-on-one guided consultations, ultimately enhancing conversion rates.
Delivery & Installation Requirements: All cabinets are fully assembled and subjected to comprehensive lighting and electrical system testing at our domestic factory. Upon successful verification, they are disassembled, packed, and shipped. The modular knockdown structure enables convenient on-site reassembly by the client's local team without requiring our cross-border installation services. The entire production, factory testing, and shipping schedule is aligned with the store's renovation timeline, with a 30-day turnaround.
Long-Term Operational Requirements: The modular, detachable cabinet structure allows for easy layout adjustments and product changes without cabinet modifications. Routine cleaning is straightforward, and lighting components can be individually replaced or serviced. Comprehensive installation manuals and instructional videos are provided to the overseas client for ongoing operational support.
Remote Consultation & Solution Design
Our design team conducted online meetings with the Bangkok store owner, remotely collecting site data including floor height, wall load-bearing capacity, electrical outlet locations, and local fire safety and environmental protection standards. Based on the store's Thai-style light-luxury renderings, we developed three display cabinet layout proposals with high-definition 3D renderings. Multiple adjustments were made to the curved arc of the circular center island, the vertical-grain texture of the natural wood, and the color temperature of the backlit cabinet lighting. We optimized the moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant cabinet structure, finalized the complete custom natural wood soft-light display cabinet solution, and signed the cross-border custom contract.
Factory Standardized Pre-Production
The factory initiated the full-process custom manufacturing: moisture-proof multi-layer natural wood substrate cutting, light wood-toned eco-friendly water-based paint finishing, and integrated vertical-grain grille molding. Stainless steel metal frames underwent double-layer anti-rust electroplating treatment. Layered soft LED light strips and low-voltage circuitry were pre-installed. Ultra-clear tempered glass was cut and edge-polished. Concurrently, recessed wall display cabinets, brand image illuminated display cases, and lounge side cabinets were fabricated. Each batch of semi-finished products underwent quality inspections for moisture resistance, color consistency, and load-bearing capacity.
In-Factory Full Assembly & System Commissioning
All cabinets were fully assembled and fitted together in the production workshop at a 1:1 scale. Comprehensive system commissioning was carried out, including lighting, circuitry, and brightness uniformity adjustment. Glass reflection, cabinet joint gaps, and sealing/moisture-proof performance were thoroughly inspected. A full-process acceptance test was conducted simulating the store's display effect. Only after confirming zero quality defects and achieving the required lighting presentation standards were the cabinets disassembled.
Moisture-Proof Disassembly, Packaging & Cross-Border Shipping
Following successful commissioning, the complete display system was disassembled into modular components. Each panel, hardware piece, lighting fixture, and glass panel was individually wrapped with moisture-proof foam and waterproof film in layered packaging. Paper installation manuals, lighting adjustment instructional videos, and spare lighting accessories were packed together with the shipment. After sealing, the consignment was handed over to a dedicated cross-border logistics service for direct delivery to the client's designated receiving point in Bangkok.
Client Local Assembly & Remote Technical Support
Upon arrival in Bangkok, the client conducted on-site assembly independently following the provided installation drawings and instructional videos. Our team provided comprehensive real-time remote video technical support throughout the process, assisting the client with assembly connections, electrical wiring, and lighting adjustments until all cabinets in the store were fully installed and operational.
