Project Overview
This project is a one-stop customized solution for all display cabinets in a light-luxury perfume brand's flagship offline store in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. Our scope includes integrated design, production, factory debugging, and logistics for the entire space’s display fixtures. The overall space adopts a soft matte nude pink + rose gold light-luxury color scheme, complemented by irregular geometric display shelves, a circular central island rotating display stand, and a light-luxury rest/consultation area with cabinet combinations. The display cabinets feature built-in LED ambient light strips, tempered glass dustproof display layers, and constant-temperature compartments, suitable for displaying high-end perfumes, niche fragrances, light-luxury handbags, and accessories. The entire set of cabinets balances three core elements: visual sophistication, product display practicality, and an immersive customer experience, aiming to create a landmark scent-focused check-in physical store in Cheongdam-dong, which will become a regional benchmark for high-end social media influencer perfume stores.
Project Address
High-end commercial district in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea (Cheongdam-dong luxury brand cluster, adjacent to multiple international beauty and luxury flagship stores, with dense high-end consumer foot traffic).
Area:330M²
Client Requirements
Spatial Aesthetic Positioning: The store targets young, high-net-worth Korean consumers. The overall style should be gentle, light-luxury, and strongly premium, differentiating from mass-market perfume stores. A nude pink soft tone combined with rose gold metallic accents complements Korean sophisticated aesthetics and is suitable for social media photo sharing. Ceilings and cabinet shapes should feature soft curves, rejecting sharp right angles.
Material & Safety Requirements: Cabinet panels must be E0-grade environmentally friendly, moisture-resistant, and deformation-proof to adapt to Korea’s humid climate. Glass should be ultra-clear tempered safety glass. Light strips must be low-voltage, shock-proof, and remain cool to the touch even after prolonged use. Metal frames require anti-oxidation and anti-rust treatment.
Operational Practicality Requirements: Cabinet shelves must be adjustable in height to facilitate future product layout changes. The bottom of cabinets should include enclosed storage compartments for inventory. The overall structure must be stable, resistant to shaking even with high foot traffic. Lighting color temperature must be precise warm soft light to truly reproduce perfume packaging colors.
Preliminary Design & Coordination Phase
The Korean client sent the original store CAD floor plans and brand visual identity color swatches remotely. Our bilingual (Chinese-Korean) design specialist conducted one-on-one communication. Taking into account the upscale positioning of the Cheongdam-dong commercial district, we produced three initial design proposals, ultimately finalizing the core shapes: triangular irregular wall cabinets, a double-tiered circular island, and a rose gold experience counter. Simultaneously, we delivered detailed construction drawings, material swatches, and lighting layout specifications. The client signed off online for final approval.
Factory Production & Precision Manufacturing Phase
The cabinet components were disassembled and produced on an assembly line:
Nude pink painted cabinet bodies – dust-free spray painting
Rose gold metal frames – laser cutting and polishing
Ultra-clear glass – precision cutting
All cabinets were pre-fitted with LED soft light strips, sensor wiring, and adjustable shelves. Each component underwent pre-assembly testing before leaving the factory to check for gaps, lighting issues, and structural stability. Finally, the cabinets were packed in thickened, moisture-resistant export wooden crates suitable for long-distance sea freight protection.
Debugging & Final Acceptance
Before shipment of each batch of perfume display cabinets, we conduct full pre-assembly in our factory and perform continuous debugging for 72 hours to ensure that all details and opening/closing functions fully comply with the design standards. Thereafter, we arrange a mutually agreed time with the client and sincerely invite them to visit our factory for final acceptance inspection.
Official Review from the Store Owner
“Choosing this Chinese custom display cabinet manufacturer was the best decision we made for our store. Rent in Cheongdam-dong is expensive, and we had extremely high demands for the cabinets’ aesthetics, workmanship, and delivery schedule. The final result is a 1:1 restoration of the design drawings — the texture of the nude pink and rose gold far exceeded our expectations. The circular island and triangular display shelves have become key photo spots for customers. In the first week after opening, social media posts about the store exploded. The cabinets are solidly built, the soft lighting makes perfume bottles look highly textured, and the adjustable shelves make it very convenient to change products. The full one-stop overseas service meant we didn’t have to worry about logistics or installation. For our second store expansion, we will definitely give them priority for cooperation!”
Conclusion
The success of this display cabinet project for the renowned perfume flagship store in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, once again demonstrates our leading strength in the field of custom display fixtures for high-end commercial spaces. We are committed to combining exceptional craftsmanship with each client’s unique brand DNA to create display spaces that not only showcase products but also tell brand stories.
