Spatial Style Requirements

The store is positioned as a high‑end French light‑luxury perfume flagship, inspired by the aesthetics of Parisian light‑luxury fragrance salons. The overall palette demands a soft, premium look using nude pink, champagne gold, and light grey. Extensive use of curved and arched lines is required to avoid sharp, rigid forms, catering to the feminine aesthetic of the perfume‑buying clientele.

Display & Merchandising Requirements

Large‑capacity product display is needed, with distinct zones for full‑size perfumes, samples/travel sizes, and fragrance accessories. A standalone island test‑scent bar must be provided to facilitate customer sampling and one‑on‑one consultant service. An arched embedded display window is required as a social‑media‑friendly photo spot, capitalising on mall foot traffic for organic promotion.

Material & Mall Compliance Requirements

Taikoo Hui imposes strict fire‑safety and material standards. All cabinet panels must meet Class A fire‑resistance ratings. Metal frames shall be fabricated from thickened, anti‑oxidation champagne gold stainless steel. Countertops must use wear‑resistant, anti‑stain marble‑effect sintered stone. Integrated LED strip lighting must be soft, anti‑glare, flicker‑free, and low‑blue‑light to suit fragrance product photography.

Functional & Practical Requirements

All display cabinets are to include enclosed base storage compartments for inventory and supplies. Metal posts and floor racks must be lightweight yet structurally sound for load‑bearing. A mix of open display and enclosed dust‑proof showcases is required, with premium fragrance gift boxes placed in individual glass‑protected display cells.

Brand & Operational Requirements

The overall space must feel open and transparent to maximise window appeal and foot‑traffic attraction. Display designs should present a distinct, differentiated identity that sets the store apart from other beauty retailers in the same mall. The setup must be photogenic for both offline and online promotional use, effectively supporting the brand’s social‑media marketing and traffic‑generation efforts.

Phase 1: Site Survey & Design Development

At the project initiation stage, our design team conducted an on‑site survey at the Taikoo Hui store to take precise measurements. Based on the client’s store positioning and product category list, we developed three differentiated display cabinet design options. After coordinating with the client’s spatial renderings, we refined and finalised the core design features – including the curved circular high cabinets, arched display windows, and wave‑shaped metal display racks – and produced accurate CAD manufacturing drawings alongside high‑resolution 3D renderings. We then submitted the complete renovation and display cabinet approval documentation to the mall’s property management, which passed the Taikoo Hui fire‑safety and renovation review on the first submission.

Phase 2: Precision Manufacturing in Factory

Upon design approval, production commenced in our own modern display cabinet manufacturing workshop. The cabinet bodies are fabricated from Class‑A fire‑rated multi‑layer solid wood panels with a matte tactile baking finish on the surface. All metal fittings undergo a uniform vacuum‑plated champagne gold anti‑oxidation treatment. The sintered stone countertops are water‑jet cut to curved, rounded corners, and fitted with layered warm‑white anti‑glare LED strip lights. The glass display cases use ultra‑clear tempered dust‑proof glass, with all edges rounded and impact‑protected. Each cabinet category is prefabricated in modular sections, with pre‑installed lighting wiring and customised internal storage compartments. Prior to dispatch, every unit undergoes a 72‑hour full inspection covering lighting performance, load‑bearing capacity, and opening/closing mechanisms – minimising the need for on‑site rework.

Phase 3: Logistics, On‑Site Installation & Commissioning

The modular display cabinets were delivered to the Taikoo Hui store via dedicated transport, strictly in compliance with the mall’s night‑time construction regulations to avoid peak hours and minimise disruption to neighbouring retailers. Our professional installation team conducted modular assembly on‑site, precisely aligning the metal trim with the marble flooring and the arched wall features. Simultaneously, we completed the overall lighting wiring and concealed transformer installation. For the circular perfume high cabinets and the curved island scent‑testing bar, we performed precise levelling and adjusted the brightness levels of the recessed LED strips to harmonise with the store’s existing artistic suspended ceiling and crystal chandeliers, ensuring overall lighting consistency. After installation, we cleaned all construction residue and applied protective coating treatments to metal and sintered stone surfaces.

Phase 4: Final Inspection, Handover & After‑Sales Briefing

A joint final inspection was conducted with the client and the mall’s property management team, verifying that all cabinet dimensions, display functionality, fire‑safety compliance, and lighting performance met the required standards. We then delivered a comprehensive cabinet usage and maintenance manual to the store’s operations staff, providing guidance on light strip adjustment, cabinet cleaning, and hardware care. Finally, we handed over the complete set of project drawings and warranty documentation.
