Project Overview
This project is a complete custom display cabinet solution for a high-end beauty and perfume flagship store at MIXC World, Nanshan District, Shenzhen. It serves as the core supporting installation for the brand's "immersive fragrance aesthetic space" targeting young consumers. The project focuses on the scenario-based display needs of premium beauty and fragrance products, with "soft lighting, texture, and interactivity" as the core design principles. It creates a customized display system integrating product presentation, user experience, and brand communication, helping the brand achieve differentiated competition and high-end positioning in its offline store.

Customer Requirements
Brand alignment requirement:
A light-luxury textured display space that matches the high-end beauty and perfume brand's identity. The overall style should feature soft pink, off-white, and dark walnut as the main color tones, aligning with the brand's gentle, refined, and premium image, while avoiding cheap or generic design.
User experience upgrade requirement:
Provide an open mid-island experience area and an enclosed high cabinet display area to balance interactive fragrance testing and product protection. Integrate soft ambient lighting and motion‑sensor lighting systems to enhance the immersive in‑store experience and increase customer dwell time.
Spatial and scenario adaptability requirement:
The solution must adapt to the store’s architectural constraints, such as curved walls, floor‑to‑ceiling windows, and ceiling height limitations. It should also allow flexibility for future product launches and display adjustments, with adjustable shelves and modular modification space reserved.
Quality and compliance requirement:
Use eco‑friendly panels and safety glass, complying with commercial space fire safety and environmental standards. The display cabinets must be durable enough for high‑frequency usage, and the installation process must not disrupt the normal operation of the shopping mall.
Preliminary Communication & Solution Design Phase
The project team conducted in-depth discussions with the brand, including on-site store surveys, brand identity analysis, and product display needs assessment. Based on this, three custom display cabinet solutions were designed. Taking into account the spatial structure of the MIXC World store and brand feedback, the final solution was centered on "curved soft‑light high cabinets + marble‑grain mid‑island counters + walnut side wall cabinets." The lighting layout and product display flow were also optimized to ensure a balance of aesthetics, functionality, and brand alignment.
Detailed Design & Prototyping Phase
For the wood grain finish and soft lighting effect emphasized by the brand, a 1:1 partial sample was produced and tested on site. The lighting color temperature was adjusted to 3000K warm soft light, and the clarity and texture of the walnut grain were optimized. After confirming that the prototype perfectly matched the store's overall space and receiving brand approval, the project moved into mass production.
Production & Quality Control Phase
Mass production of the display cabinets was carried out strictly according to the detailed design drawings. High‑quality materials, including E0‑grade eco‑friendly panels, ultra‑clear tempered glass, and LED flicker‑free light strips, were used throughout. Three quality control checkpoints were set up during production to rigorously inspect panel cutting, baking finish, lighting circuits, and hardware accessories. This ensured that the dimensional accuracy, material texture, and lighting effect of each display cabinet met the design standards.
On‑site Installation & Commissioning Phase
A professional installation team was deployed to the MIXC World store. Modular installation methods were used to bring in, install, and commission the cabinets zone by zone. Custom installation solutions were developed for the store's curved walls and floor‑to‑ceiling glass areas, ensuring a seamless fit with the building structure.
Acceptance & Handover Phase
The project team conducted a comprehensive acceptance inspection together with the brand and the mall's property management. The inspection covered structural stability, lighting effect, product display suitability, environmental safety, and compliance indicators. The project passed the acceptance inspection on the first attempt.
Customer Feedback:
The brand is highly satisfied with the overall results of this custom display cabinet project. They believe the light‑luxury texture of the display cabinets perfectly matches the brand's identity, and the lighting and display design have effectively enhanced the store's product presentation and user experience.
