Project Overview
This project is a light luxury perfume experience kiosk located in the atrium of a shopping mall, custom-built for the renowned fragrance brand OJBERY. It serves as a benchmark custom project that deeply integrates brand image with product display. Situated in the prime area of a high-end shopping center, the kiosk covers approximately 31 square meters. Featuring a curved, open-flow design, it breaks the limitations of traditional perfume display cabinets and creates an immersive experience space that combines visual appeal, strong brand identity, and effective product presentation.
Location: Hong Kong , China
Area: 31 sqm
This design takes "Light Luxury Golden Flow · Fragrance Art Gallery" as its core concept, deeply aligning with the tone and positioning of high-end perfume brands. Using warm white and champagne gold as the main color palette, complemented by arched doorways and soft light strips, it simulates the elegant lines of perfume and the fluidity of fragrance, allowing the space itself to become an extension of the brand's identity.
Addressing the three core needs of product display, trial experience, and brand presentation, the design employs layered lighting and zoned cabinetry to ensure each perfume is showcased at its best, while also meeting the requirements for moisture-proof, dust-proof, and secure display of perfume products.
1. Brand Image Central Island Main Display Cabinet
Adopts a curved integrated design, with an illuminated brand logo embedded in the front and a soft bottom light strip, reinforcing brand visual impact.
2. Double-Sided Open High Product Display Cabinets
Layered open structure with independent warm-toned shelf lights, evenly illuminating each tier to perfectly showcase the light and color of each perfume bottle.
3. Double-Sided Auxiliary Low Display Cabinets
Core function:** An extension of the central island main cabinet, designed for displaying and sampling travel sizes, discovery sets, and limited-edition products.
4. Custom Decorative and Supporting Cabinets
Perfume-themed decorative display cabinet strengthens brand IP recognition while also serving to showcase brand stories and new product information.
Preliminary Communication & Solution Design
At the project initiation stage, we formed a dedicated project service team and conducted multiple rounds of in-depth discussions with the OJBERY brand team and the mall property management to fully understand the brand identity, product display requirements, mall space constraints, and property regulations.
For the irregular curved atrium space, we produced three optimized solutions. Using 1:1 renderings and traffic flow simulations, we successfully balanced site dimensions, lighting limitations, and brand image presentation.
Production & Quality Control
After the solution was confirmed, the project moved into the manufacturing phase. We strictly adhered to high-end display cabinet production standards, controlling every detail from the source. Processes such as CNC cutting, laser cutting, and seamless edge banding were employed to ensure precise cabinet assembly and smooth, natural lines.
In-Factory Assembly & Commissioning
To avoid issues such as dimensional discrepancies or lighting failures during on-site installation, we conducted full-scenario pre-assembly and testing in our factory. Specifically, we reproduced the entire layout of the perfume kiosk at 1:1 scale according to the actual dimensions of the mall space. All lighting systems underwent a 72-hour continuous power-on test to identify potential wiring issues and adjust brightness and color temperature.
Brand Image Upgrade: The custom-designed perfume kiosk perfectly aligns with the OJBERY brand identity, creating a high-end brand image that stands out from traditional counters and significantly enhancing the brand's recognition and influence within the shopping mall.
After project delivery, the OJBERY brand team and store operations team gave high praise for this custom perfume kiosk project:
"From the initial communication to the final installation, the entire collaboration process was very smooth. We were initially concerned that the irregular atrium space would limit the design possibilities, but your team not only perfectly resolved the spatial constraints but also turned this 31㎡ perfume kiosk into a 'traffic magnet' in the mall through the curved circulation design and lighting."
— Ms. Li, Operations Director of OJBERY
"The custom display cabinets have far exceeded our expectations in terms of functionality! The layered lighting perfectly showcases the bottle texture of each perfume, and the hidden storage has solved our problems of storing testers and inventory at the store. Just one month after opening, the store's perfume trial rate and conversion rate increased by 35%, and we've also seen a significant increase in repeat customers."
— Ms. Wang, Store Manager of OJBERY
