Project (Completion): November 9, 2024
Project Start: July 7, 2024
Size (M²): 300 M²
A major highlight of this project is the provision of various customization options. In addition to traditional fixed display cases, we introduced movable and modular display cases. Movable showcases allow museums to flexibly adjust the display layout according to changing exhibition themes, while the modular cases can meet the display needs of artifacts of different sizes and shapes, providing greater flexibility for museum exhibition planning.
At the project's initial phase, LUXE Showcases' museum display case manufacturers engaged in in-depth and detailed discussions with the museum to understand their needs. Team members conducted thorough site visits, documenting key information such as the spatial layout, architectural style, and the types, quantities, sizes, materials, and preservation conditions of the artifacts. For instance, in historical museums containing numerous paper artifacts, we focused on understanding their sensitivity to temperature and humidity changes; for large oil paintings in art museums, we captured their specific hanging and display requirements.
Design Concept
Based on comprehensive research, the LUXE Showcases team began conceptualizing solutions for custom museum cabinets. Design directions varied for different types of museums. For artifacts that are ancient and fragile in historical museums, the display case design team employed special temperature and humidity control systems to ensure artifacts remain in a stable environment. Simultaneously, the custom museum cabinets paid attention to lighting effects, using precise lighting design to highlight the colors and textures of artworks, allowing the audience to better appreciate the beauty of the art. In natural history museums, fossils and specimens were displayed in unique arrangements that recreated natural scenes while ensuring safety, enhancing the engagement of the exhibits. During the design process, LUXE Showcases utilized advanced 3D modeling technology to create realistic showcase models, providing detailed presentations of appearance, internal structure, and various functional modules.
In terms of manufacturing techniques for museum exhibition display cases, the project adopted a series of advanced technologies. The materials used for the showcases complied with international environmental standards and exhibited high strength and corrosion resistance, ensuring durability. The production process strictly adhered to standardized operating procedures. From cutting and polishing raw materials to processing and assembling components, each step was meticulously handled by experienced craftsmen. For example, in the fabrication of metal frames, high-precision cutting equipment was employed to ensure accurate frame dimensions; the glass installation utilized a special sealing process to guarantee the museum exhibition display cases' sealing and stability, providing reliable protection for the artifacts.
Store Achievement Feedback
Representatives from the participating museum indicated that the implementation of the museum exhibition display cases customization project would significantly enhance the museum's display quality. LUXE Showcases' customized cabinets not only provide better protection for artifacts but also present them to the audience in a more vivid and intuitive manner, enriching the audience's understanding and appreciation of culture.
