As time progresses and audience expectations for cultural displays rise, traditional exhibition methods are increasingly unable to meet demands. The organizers chose LUXE Showcases for its extensive 21 years of experience in museum display cabinet customization, known for its excellent craftsmanship and innovative design. The lacquerware museum organizers aim to optimize the design and production of display cabinets to better showcase the beauty of lacquerware.
At the beginning of our collaboration, the LUXE Showcases team conducted multiple in-depth visits to the lacquerware museum, engaging with experts and researchers to understand the characteristics, historical context, and preservation needs of each lacquerware exhibit. They also conducted detailed surveys and analyses of the museum's architectural style and spatial layout. To cater to the unique properties of lacquerware, the design team proposed various custom museum display stand methods. For small lacquerware pieces, independent glass display cases with focused lighting effects were used. Soft light projected from different angles highlighted the texture and colors of the lacquer surfaces. For larger lacquerware furniture, open display areas with adjustable-height pedestals were set up to allow visitors to view from all angles. Additionally, to protect the lacquerware from environmental damage, the custom museum display stands were equipped with temperature and humidity control systems, as well as UV-protective glass, providing a stable and safe exhibition environment.
In terms of craftsmanship, LUXE Showcases strives for perfection. The wooden frames were finely polished and treated with multiple layers of varnish, resulting in a smooth surface with uniform color; the glass installation utilized advanced sealing technology to ensure the museum showcases' airtightness and safety. Every detail of the display cases was meticulously crafted by the museum display stand factory, demonstrating respect and care for the lacquerware exhibits.
Design Concept
In the design aspect, LUXE Showcases fully integrates modern aesthetics with traditional elements. Considering the lacquerware museum's ancient and elegant architectural exterior and interior atmosphere, the museum display stands heavily utilized wooden materials. The warm walnut wood not only harmonizes with the museum's overall style but also enhances the stability of the display stands, creating a warm and natural atmosphere that maintains a connection to traditional ceramics while complementing the lacquerware’s warm texture. The framework of the independent high cabinets is made of high-strength metal materials, with a treated surface ensuring durability and oxidation resistance. The museum display stand factory employed low-reflection glass to reduce visual distortion and enhance the transparency of the exhibits. The overall shape of the cabinets is simple and elegant, avoiding excessive decorations, using clever line work to create a tranquil and dignified display atmosphere.
