Project Overview
This project involved customizing the entire store's jewelry showcase solutions for a renowned high-end jewelry brand on Fifth Avenue, New York, USA. It serves as a benchmark case for our service to luxury jewelry retailers in North America. The design was anchored in the brand's core identity of "modern luxury, understated refinement," creating a comprehensive display system suitable for diamonds, colored gemstones, and haute couture collections.
Client Requirements
Preliminary communication and solution design:
The jewelry showcases must maximize the brilliance of the gemstones' fire. The color temperature of the lighting needs to be precisely controlled within the golden range for jewelry display. The high‑end collection display cases must balance privacy with visibility, while also allowing flexible space for future brand new product launches.
Safety and compliance standards:
All materials must meet U.S. ASTM safety and environmental certifications. The glass must be ultra‑clear tempered glass, paired with concealed smart locks to ensure the security of the jewelry collection.
Details and durability requirements:
The interior lining of the jewelry display counters must be made of scratch‑resistant premium materials. Metal components shall use multi‑layer polished stainless steel with edge rounding. Durability under high‑traffic customer flow must be considered — the jewelry display counters structure and hardware must be suitable for long‑term, high‑frequency use.
Preliminary Communication & Design
Based on the client's brand identity and functional requirements, combined with the store floor plans and on-site survey data, we developed three custom design proposals. The final solution was built upon the "Deep Sea Blue + Champagne Gold Geometric Facet" concept, with optimizations to the lighting layout and structural details of the central circular main jewelry display counters. A complete custom package was delivered, including 3D renderings, construction drawings, and a material list.
Production & Quality Control
The production phase strictly followed luxury jewelry showcases craftsmanship standards: the cabinet structure used imported solid wood frames with deep sea blue environmentally friendly paint; metal components were finished with 304 stainless steel plated in champagne gold; glass was 8mm ultra-clear tempered glass; and the lighting system utilized custom LED cool light sources with smart dimming modules. Each production step underwent three quality inspections to ensure all components met U.S. safety and environmental certification standards.
Factory Pre‑assembly & Client Acceptance
After all components were completed, we carried out a full‑scale mock‑up assembly in our own factory following the 1:1 floor markings of the New York store, fully assembling the main wall display counters, standalone high cabinets, and central low counters. This was followed by 72 hours of continuous integrated testing covering cabinet joint precision, smart lighting color temperature transitions, security alarm trigger responses, and other key indicators. Once the system was confirmed stable, we scheduled an acceptance inspection with the brand, inviting the client's operations and visual merchandising teams to visit the factory.
After project delivery, the brand gave high praise for this collaboration:
"We are extremely satisfied with the custom service provided by the Luxe team. The entire project – from communication and production to installation – was efficient and professional, exceeding our expectations. For future upgrade projects of the brand's North American stores, we will give priority to cooperating with Luxe."
