Craftsmanship: Infusing Vintage Soul into Jewellery Counters
LUXE Showcases takes a meticulous approach to woodworking craftsmanship. For instance, the frames of the jewelry counters utilize traditional mortise and tenon techniques, where artisans manually carve mortises and shape tenons to ensure tight and sturdy joints, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of vintage furniture.
For the surfaces of the jewelry counters, LUXE Showcases employs hand-rubbing and waxing techniques. During the rubbing process, artisans apply vintage-toned paint in layers following the wood grain, repeatedly rubbing to allow the color to naturally seep in and create a gradient effect. The waxing process uses natural beeswax, evenly covering the wood surface under high heat to form a warm, translucent protective layer that highlights the wood grain and replicates the classic texture of American vintage furniture.
